E. Dwayne Brewer, was born on June 27, 1943, in Gratis, Ohio and passed away unexpectedly on January 29, 2026. Dwayne's life was marked by dedication, adventure, and a passion for flying, working on cars, and motorcycling.

A graduate of Gratis High School, class of 1961, Dwayne enjoyed a fulfilling career as a welder for General Motors before pursuing his passion for aviation. After retirement, he embraced his role as both a corporate and private pilot, flying across the United States. His love of travel extended to exhilarating rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, attending various events, including the renowned bike weeks in Sturgis and Daytona.

Dwayne had many interests that brought him joy throughout his life. He was an avid card player, particularly enjoying the game of euchre. His fascination with electronics and photography also served as incredible pastimes, allowing him to document his travels and experiences while connecting deeply with the world around him.

Dwayne is survived by his beloved daughter Sonia (Randy) Lake and son Mike Brewer, along with his treasured grandchildren: Mike Brewer, Megan (Brad) Clifton, Ashley (Steffen) Collins, and Kristen (Troy) Fox. He was also the proud great-grandfather to Aubrey Collins, Lilly Collins, Collin Clifton, Iris Collins, Connor Clifton, and Myles Fox.

Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents, Earnie and Frances Brewer, as well as his brother Stanley and sisters Shirley Hampton and Loretta Walters. He is also survived by his brother Marvin, and sisters Violet Combs, and LeFonda R. Miniard, who will carry on his legacy of love and adventure.

Dwayne Brewer will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, warm heart, and the indelible mark he left on those fortunate enough to know him. His memory will live on through his family and friends, who will cherish the laughter, love, and memories shared with him.  Dwayne was a quiet man and to honor his spirit, services will be private for the family and he will be laid to rest at Woodside Cemetery in Middletown, OH.
