Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home - NicholasvilleEardean (Dean) B. Dunn, 88, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed peacefully on November 30, 2025 in Port Charlotte, Florida. Dean is survived by her daughter, Cheri Gaudinier, devoted grandson, Allen (Caitlin) Gaudinier, and her adored great granddaughter, Isla Gaudinier, as well as her sister, Fostine Keeney and brother Granville Burton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Ethel Burton, her husband, J.T. Dunn, her sisters, Kathleen Spencer and Geraldine Crouch, and her brothers, Othel Burton and Otis Burton.
She retired from the Farmers Home Administration, where she worked as a County Office Clerk in the Nicholasville office. She loved visiting with friends and family, going to car shows with JT, and was a great cook - preparing many dishes which were crowd favorites amongst her family and friends. She enjoyed reading, live music, and her weekly trip to the beauty shop.
She was very proud of her family and loved visiting her grandson and family in Florida, where she eventually moved. She was an active member of the North Lexington Church of Christ and loved her church family.
A celebration of Dean’s life will be held at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home at 207 W. Oak Street, Nicholasville, KY, where friends and family will come together to honor her and bid farewell to a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Dean's family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday, Dec. 13, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. Her Remembrance Service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating. Following the service, Dean will be laid to rest beside her husband at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are Allen Gaudinier, Matthew Blevins, Benjamin Blevins, Mike Huber, Joey Nolasco and Bobby Ricks. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to North Lexington Church of Christ in honor of her memory.
