Earl Wayne Anderson, born on September 7, 1966, in Flint, Michigan to the late Lyman Earl Anderson and the late Loretta Brock Fillmore. Earl departed this life peacefully on March 4, 2025, at his residence in Warbranch, Kentucky at the age of 58.
Earl was a lifelong construction worker. He graduated from Davison High School in 1984, a proud milestone that laid the foundation for his future endeavors in the construction industry.
An avid outdoorsman, Earl found nature and the outdoors his favorite place to be. He thoroughly enjoyed farming and gardening. His love for hunting further exemplified his appreciation for the outdoors.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Celena McKinnon (Jon) of Kalkaska, Michigan, and two adored grandchildren, Jonathon McKinnon II and Addison McKinnon, both of Kalkaska, Michigan. Since September 6, 2007, he shared his life with his significant other, Sarah Bowling of Warbranch, KY.
Earl's brother, Larry Fillmore (Deb) resides in Lapeer, Michigan, and his sisters, Diana Petrick (Robert) and Linda Anderson, both of Grand Blanc, Michigan, along with Stacy Fillmore of Flint, Michigan, continue to honor his memory. His extended family includes his nephew Giovani Petrick, as well as his aunt Veda Sizemore and uncle and aunt Ronnie and Leona Brock. A host of other family and friends also survive him.
In his later years, Earl took up the enjoyable hobby of “Picking/Junking” with friends, where they would buy, sell, and trade various items. This activity, fondly referred to by Sarah as "Antique Collections," brought Earl immense joy.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Lyman Earl Anderson and Loretta Brock Fillmore, his sister Jamie Fillmore, and his stepfather Larry Fillmore, Sr.
Friends and family may gather for a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service for Earl Wayne Anderson will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12th, 2025 in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating.
Interment will follow in the John R. Hoskins Cemetery at Asher, Ky.
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home
