Earl Tigland Arnett, III, was born in Mt. Sterling, KY on June 27, 1966 to Earl T. Arnett, II and Donna Denney Arnett. In his youth, "Tig"" was a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout, part of a high adventure troop. His father was one of the Boy Scout Masters. The troop hiked in the Red River Gorge and parts of the Appalachian Trail many times and also went to Philmont, New Mexico, which was a highlight of their scouting careers. Tig attended Mt. Sterling High School. The family moved to Boca Raton, FL in 1982 and attended school there. Tig became Earl when he started school in Boca Raton. Only family and friends from Mt. Sterling referred to him as Tig. He was friendly and his gift for gab made him a natural salesman. He worked in many electronic and furniture stores in Lexington and Louisville. He lived for many years in Pensacola, Florida and was in furniture sales there. Earl was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Louisville. His grandmother, Frances Denney ("Mimi") and his father, Earl T. Arnett II, predeceased him. He is survived by his mother and an aunt, Greta Miller and her husband, Frank Miller. The family would like to thank Norton Women and Children's Hospital on Dutchman's Lane and his doctors for their excellent health care and kindness and to Hosparus Health, under whose blessed care Earl died. Services will be at 7:00 PM Thursday, August 28 at the Christ Lutheran Church with Dr. Bimen Limbong presiding.
