Earl E. "Bucky" Buchmoyer

Earl E. "Bucky" Buchmoyer, 78, of Lebanon passed away on Sunday August 25, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his late wife, RuthAnn (Heisey) Buchmoyer, who passed way in 2003.
Earl was born in Lebanon on October 16, 1945 to the late Ezra and Sarah (Nick) Buchmoyer. He worked in production and had retired from the press room at Hershey Foods. Earl was a member of Fontana Christian Fellowship. He enjoyed listening to southern gospel music, going to concerts with his family, all things chocolate, especially chocolate milk, and all things food related. Earl was known for talking to everyone and would always be handing out his beloved Hershey candy. He loved telling corny jokes at times. He was also a lifelong Phillies fan, loved trains, and authored many poems.
Surviving are his sons, Michael Buchmoyer (Heather) of Allentown, Earl Buchmoyer (Stacy) of Hershey, and two grandchildren Tanner and Adrienne. He was preceded in death by his brother Ezra Buchmoyer. He is also survived by Patricia (Fulk) Buchmoyer.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10AM at Fontana Chapel, 22 Fontana Ave, Lebanon. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon. There will be a viewing from 9AM until 10AM at the church.
