Earl Roy Carver, a man of unwavering integrity and steadfast dedication to his friends and those he served, passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on August 22, 1949, and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas, Earl was raised by his mother, Norma Carver, and shared a close bond with his older brother, Tommy Carver, a retired Navy Corpsman. Earl pursued his education with determination, earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, followed by a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington Earl's professional journey took him across the country, with residences in Arlington and Corpus Christi, Texas; Farmington, New Mexico; and Naples, Florida. Still, he found his true sense of home in Tyler, Texas, where he purchased and restored his 1920's home where he spent many enjoyable years. His career included leadership roles with Belo Broadcasting, the Trinity River Authority, Greyhound Lines, and Parker Hannifin Corporation. He ran his own contracting business for several years. And later, he served as Manager of LINE-X of Tyler and as Office Manager of Camp V, a respected veteran's service organization. Earl took deep pride in his work at Camp V, where he found purpose in supporting those who served our nation. Motivated by his vocation of helping others through his work Earl never retired, working diligently until his death.

As a teen, Earl was active in the Order of DeMolay and was awarded the Degree of Chevalier, the highest honor a DeMolay can receive. As an adult, he was a member of Faith Lodge AF & AM, No. 1158, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
