Earl Casada Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home & Crematory on Mar. 10, 2026.
CASADA, Earl Edward. Longtime resident of Norwood, Ohio, was born in Keno, Kentucky to the late Richmond and Mary Francis (Hughes) Casada. He was the second youngest of 13 children and grew up helping his parents and siblings work on the family farm.

Earl began his personal career in manufacturing working for companies such as CloPay, WR Grace Chemical and Barker Greeting Cards, where he began building his management skills. But in the mid-1960s, he did something bold. He purchased a Standard Oil (Sohio) service station and stepped into what would become a 30-plus year career in automotive repair and station management. A hard worker from the start, his stations would win many awards in sales and customer service. He retired in 2000 with 35 years of service to Standard Oil and British Petroleum.

He was the husband of the late Virginia C. (nee Simpson) Casada. Devoted father of Sheila Casada, Yvonne (Brian) Parton, Kip (Betsy) Casada, James Casada, Shawn (Angie) Casada, and Joseph Bryan (Amanda) Casada. Loving grandfather of Carol, Michelle, Jerry, Elizabeth, Kyle, Ean, Spencer, Abigail, and Nickolas. He was also great grandfather to Mikayla, Jayden and Alexa.

Earl passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at age 96.

Visitation will be held at Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd., Norwood, OH 45212 on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 9:30 AM until time of funeral service beginning at 11 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
