Earl Mitchell Cotton, 72, of Trinity, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Wake Forest Atrium Health in Winston-Salem.
Born January 29, 1953, in High Point, he was a son of the late Junius Cotton and the late Martha Martin Cotton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Cotton and Edward Cotton; sister, Bessie Thompson; and brothers-in-laws, Walter Alexander, Jr., and Randall Rush.
Left to cherish his memory; sisters, Barbara Alexander of Charlotte and Lucy Rush of Trinity; brother, Marvin Cotton and wife Ceola of Pahrump, NV; and nephews, Ambrose Rush and Keith Alexander (Gabrielle); nieces, Adrienne Rush, Anissa Alexander, and Felicia Brannon; and a host of relatives, friends and loved ones.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 5, 2025, in the Archdale Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations.
The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens.
