I will miss Earl. He and I reaquainted a few years ago helping him out with picking up debris from fields after the tornado several years ago. He was a good man and friend. And, will be missed!

We moved to Chapman when Earl and I were in the second grade. We lived at the old Gallagher farm next to Earl's home south of town. My family moved back and forth from Missouri to Chapman over the years depending on my dad's army assignments. Earl was one of a few that I counted as good friends through all those years. He was always that down to earth solid guy who was easy for everyone to know.

I went many years not seeing Earl after high school, but we reconnected a few years ago, under less than ideal conditions when a few of us were able to help clean up a couple of wheat fields after tornados.

My thoughts and prayers are with Bettie and family, as the Lord welcomes one of his solid followers home.
