Earl Keith Harris

Earl "69" Keith Harris was born on November 26, 1973; he was called home on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the age of 52. He worked at Bollinger shipyard in Harvey, Louisiana. Earl Keith was the son of Carolyn Harris (late Mack McBride Jr.) and the late Earl Sutton.

Earl Keith leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother–Carolyn Harris; stepmother–Charlene McBride; children–Antonette Birdlow (Khali Jackson), and Jared, J'Earl, J'Rae, Janai, and Jalon Paul; stepchildren–Janiese, Jannee', Javon, Joquan, and Joman Paul; granddaughter–K'yomi Jackson; siblings–Shawanda Harris (Herbert Jackson), Shelita McBride, Katrice Leggins (Vernon Leggins), Dannon Harris, Trenice McBride, Michele Prevost (Monte Prevost Sr.), Taisia Harris, Michael, Ray, and Rayon McBride, and Rico and Quintin Sutton; great-aunt–Jessie Mae Narcisse; great-uncle–Lawrence Bell Jr.; uncle–Leroy Harris (Sherry Harris); nieces–Taranika McBride, Lawanda Harris, Diranika and Denise McBride, Jada Brooks, Jewelnisha and Jerica McBride, Ecoveya Dyson, Taisia Prevost-Gallot (Martin Gallot), Montriele Prevost, Jaliah and Jamiah McBride, and Dannan Harris; nephews–Cornell Harris Sr., Calvin Harris, Perry Davis, Joseph Harris, Jarvis and Anthony Dyson, Janero McBride, Monte Prevost Jr.,and Avontae and Akyrae Mitchell; and a host of great- nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Earl Keith was preceded in death by his great-grandparents–Enola and Lawrence Bell Sr., and Odessa and Joseph Harris; aunts–Rose Harris and Kathleen Jones; uncles–Joseph and Emile Harris; brother–Anthony McBride; and nephew–Dirone McBride.

Friends and family are invited to the Celebration of Life service on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Murray Henderson Funeral Home, 1209 Teche Street, New Orleans, LA 70114.
The Visitation will be at 9:00 AM.
