Earl Hersom Sr., 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29th, 2025, following a period of declining health. Born on November 22nd, 1958, in Rochester, New Hampshire, Earl was the son of the late John and Ruth Hersom. Earl lived a full and vibrant life and was proud of his career in sales. In his younger years, he cherished the time he spent collecting baseball cards with his son, Earl Jr., and playing pool with his friends. He found joy in boating, working on cars, and riding motorcycles. Earl also had a lively spirit – he loved to entertain, celebrate and bring people together for parties and good times. He is survived by his son, Earl Hersom Jr. of Exeter, NH; his life partner, Linda Pouliot and her two daughters, April and Sheena, of Texas; his brother, Steven Hersom Sr., of Farmington, NH; and his nieces and nephews, Richard Jr., Curt, Stephanie, Steven Jr. and Adam. Earl was predeceased by his brother, Richard Hersom Sr. and his best friend, Rick Curley. Visiting hours for the Hersom family will be held on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by a brief memorial service at the Edgerly Funeral Home Chapel, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, NH 03867. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Kidney Fund. (http://give.kidneyfund.org/donate-now)
