Earl Eldon Sebolt, age 77, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026. He was born May 21, 1948, in Albion, Michigan. Earl went on to faithfully serve his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed a good round of golf, spending time at the bowling alley, playing darts, and a good game of euchre. He loved his family and was especially proud of his grandchildren. Earl worked the majority of his career at Owens Illinois in Charlotte and retired after many dedicated years of service.
Earl is survived by his children, Leslie Sebolt, Tammy Ross, Troy Auvenshine; grandchildren, Autumn True, Brandon Ouderkirk, Justin Ouderkirk, Cameron Auvenshine, Bradley Auvenshine, Megan Ross, Macy Ross; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Sebolt; grandson, Christian Sebolt; and several siblings.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 11 A.M. at the West Carmel Cemetery. A celebration of Earl’s life will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 4 P.M. at the American Legion Post 42, 1000 W. Lawrence Highway, Charlotte, MI 48813.
