Earl Eugene Snyder, Jr., 82, entered into rest Sunday January 25, 2026 at Pappus House.

A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., West

York, is assisting with the arrangements.

Mr. Snyder was born January 19, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of the late Earl Eugene, Sr., and Marjorie E. (Prall) Snyder. He was a graduate of Red Lion Senior High School and York College. Before retirement he was employed as a salesman with AMZ Manufacturing. For many years he enjoyed being a part time bar tender at Victor's Italian Restaurant in York. He was a member of St. John's UCC in Red Lion, the Viking AA, Victory AA, Prince AA, and Hawks Gunning Club. He enjoyed playing golf, watching golf on tv, cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles, and fun times at Hollywood Casino.

Eugene is survived by his daughter Marcy Royce and her husband R. Frank Royce, Jr.; two brothers Rev. Larry A. Snyder and his wife Karen, Dennis L. Snyder and his wife Rhonda; nieces, nephews, and loving extended family. He was preceded in death by a son Kevin E. Snyder.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Pappas House, 66 Big Mount Road, Thomasville, PA 17364.

My 17th cousin removed. Our personal joke that actually ment the world to me. I may only have known him for less than two years but he created a lifetime of memories for my my family.
IM so sorry for everyone's lose. He truly was a Stubborn but amazing man. I will cherish our memories alway.
