Earl M. Street,Sr. the son of Moses Alfonso Street and Cora Ann Johnson-Street of Baltimore Md.
Earl was born on January 17, 1937. He lived to be 87 years old on Tuesday 12/24/2024. Earl departed this life at home in the comfort of his own bed, after a lengthy illness, Earl accepted Christ as His Lord and Savior at a very early age. He attended, "The Little Ark Baptist Church, "under the leadership of Rev. Matthew Marcus for many years. Earl later attended, United in Christ Seventh Day Adventist Church of Baltimore, Md.
Earl's early education was spent in Baltimore's Public school. In 1956 Earl met and married Ms. Isabelle Heath, from this union, one son was born, Mr. Earl Thomes (I). In 1959 Earl joined The United States military serving in the Navy. In 1960 Earl married Ms. Shirley Jenkins and many children were created in this union. Earl continued his military career. He specialized in maintenance of Steam boilers and mechanical Engineering, while serving in the Navy. Earl's family also toured with him on various assignments.
After many years in the Armed Forces Earl brought his family back to Baltimore. Earl worked for various companies as a 1st class Stationary Engineer, such as Stella Maris Rehabilitation Center, Baltimore National Aquarium and later retired from The Maryland State Penitentiary. Earl owned his own private Taxicab (995) and later a private Limousine Service, (La Hack). He was a very industrious entrepreneur and his goals, thanks be to God, always panned out. He was a member of the Elks Lodge#1043 and a Free Mason. Earl really appreciated organization; everything had its place.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Moses and Cora Street; sister, Minnie Catherine Gaskins; two sons, Ruben and Michael Dominick; two granddaughters, Sharlonda E. and Veonna C.; two great-granddaughters, Star Evangeline and Kammori.Earl Moses Street Sr. leaves to cherish his precious memories one brother, Calvin Henderson; two sisters, Montanna Henderson, Shirley Maxine; four sons, Earl Thomas, Ruben, Earl Moses Jr. Dawayne Maurice, Micheal Dominick; seven daughters, Zeldra Ann, Velda Mae, Sharrone, Michelle,Shirley,Zenette, Sharronda Sean-Tay, Sharnesha Quinlua; 25 great-grandchildren and one Great-great granddaughter, one God daughter, Audrey Yvette; One daughter-in-law Suzanne Street; three sons-in-law: Eric Brockington, Tony Green and Arnold Handy and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. The family would like to acknowledge special thanks to a special friend and companion, Mr. Harvey Campbell, as well as his special nephew, companion, helper and friend, Mr. Kevin Gaskins
