Earl T. Vanacor

Earl Thomas Vanacor, entered into heaven’s gates on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home, in Raceland, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 12 noon until service time. A funeral service will be held in the parlor at 2 pm with burial to be held at a later date.

He is survived by his children, Kellsie Thompson and Megan Thompson. A loving grandfather of Trumaine Howard Jr, Harmoni Howard, Kai’ja Favorite, Jo’ziah Favorite, Camdyn Williams and Jake Fonseca. Son of the late Mary Ann Ford Vanacor and Melvin Vanacor Sr. and sister, Karen Ann Duran.

He is also survived by sister, Melissa Berteau, Melvin Vanacor II (Cathy), Elizabeth Vanacor (Sheila) and numerous Godchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Age 58, he was a native and long-life resident of Des Allemands. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, shooting pool but most importantly spending time with his kids and grandkids were the joy to his world. Thank you for being the best father and grandfather any of us could have asked for. We love you; we miss you and we will continue to make you proud.

He will live on forever in our hearts. His legacy of love and kindness will never be forgotten.
