Earlene Brown

Earlene (Granny) Brown, 76, of Waldron, Arkansas passed away on July 15, 2023 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born February 8, 1947 to the late James and Evelyn (Cheesman) Himes. Earlene liked spending time outside in her garden and working with her flowers, but most of all she loved spending her time with her grandchildren.
Granny is survived by her husband of 57 years Bill Brown, one daughter Tammy Lovett and husband Larry of Waldron, AR, two sons; Billy Paul Brown and wife July of Waldron, AR, Billy Lee Brown of Waldron, AR, one daughter at heart Dorothy Richardson, three brothers; Howard Himes, Verrney Himes, and Dub Himes all of Waldron, AR.
She is also survived by six grandchildren; Shane Lovett and wife Kelly Cox, Brooke Yandell, Chais Johnson and husband Ian Johnson, Jade Brown and husband Kolten Wright, Woodrow Brown and wife Jordan Gilbert, Kaylee Thammavong, eight great-grandchildren; Shaylee Lovett, Phisher Brown, Chesnie Allen, Benson Yandell, Harper Johnson, Bentley Cox, Sutton Richmond, and Hayvn Gilbert.
She is preceded in death by her parents James and Evelyn Himes, one sister, Wanda Hitchcock, two brothers; Lonnie and Thomas Himes.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Waldron with burial to follow at Pilot Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home in Waldron.
Pallbearers will be Shane Lovett, Woodrow Brown, Tyler Oliver, Chance Tanner, Eric Sims, Jeff Sims, Little Dan Richmond and Michael Beyard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Henry, Jerry Bob Metcalf, Jeremy Metcalf, Maynard Anderson, Larry Huddleston and Go Go Jones.
