Earlene Lawson Green of Simpsonville, KY was born on May 26, 1957, to the late Earl Lawson Sr. and Mary Lucille (Doleman) Lawson. She passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on March 9, 2026, at Norton Women & Children's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Earlene recently retired from the factory industry. She was an amazing, strong, loving, and selfless woman who devoted her life to caring for others. she was a member of First Baptist Church Eminence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mary Lucille Lawson; and her brothers, Charles Lawson, Richard Lawson-Pearce Sr., and Gregory Lawson.

Earlene is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Anthony Green, Kentucky; her two children, Anthony Green (Christina), and Jaleesa Galindo (Elvis) . She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Kiara Green, Eriana Galindo, Gabriella Galindo, and Isaac Galindo.

She is also survived by her siblings, Mildred Lawson, Earl Lawson Jr. (Emet), and Zelma Bowen (Richard).

Earlene was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her children deeply and took great pride in the family they built together. Her greatest joy in life was being a "Granny." She absolutely adored her grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them.

She will always be remembered for her strength and the selfless way she cared for everyone around her. Her love was constant, her support unwavering, and her presence was a blessing to all who knew her.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY on Sunday, March 22nd, 2026. From 3PM to 5PM.
