Earlene Sandra Taras May 5, 1949 - September 25, 2025 Earlene Sandra Taras, beloved daughter of Veronica Jane Kaminski and Earl Polsgrove. A devoted mother to Melissa (Kenneth) Zalucki and Heather Schutzler. Proud grandmother to Amanda, Sophia, and Ava. Cherished sister to Evon Walker, Marlene Tocco, and Maria Moceri, who was called home on September 25, 2025. Earlene dedicated many years to a fulfilling career at Comerica Bank, where she was known for her care and service to others. She was equally devoted to her community through her membership and volunteering at the Kiwanis Club of Shelby Golden K loan store, where her patience and exceptional organizational skills earned her the distinction of Kiwanis Person of the Year in 2025. Remembered for her generous heart and vibrant spirit, Earlene embraced an active, healthy life and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Her kindness, devotion, and joyful presence will be cherished by all who knew her. A visitation will be held from 3-8pm on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. (3blks. E. of Van Dyke) in Utica. Visitation will continue at the funeral home the following day, Monday, September 29th, from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 11am.
