Earline Daniell Causey, age 97, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on February 11, 2026.

She was born on November 12, 1928, in Smyrna, Georgia, to Robert and Madge (Bray) Daniell. Earline graduated from Fitzhugh Lee High School in Smyrna, Georgia, with the Class of 1945. She dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, creating a warm and loving home for those she cherished.

On June 10, 1950, she married her childhood sweetheart Gene Causey. Together they made their home in Smyrna, Georgia, where they shared many happy years. Following Gene's passing, Earline later married Clarence Polansky, who also preceded her in death.

Earline was a devoted member of King Spring Baptist Church in Smyrna, Georgia, and later attended Unity Chapel Methodist Church in Ramsey, Indiana. She found joy in cooking and baking for family and friends, traveling to new places, and spending quiet hours reading. Her gentle spirit, steady faith, and caring heart will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Gene Causey; and her second husband, Clarence Polansky.

Earline is survived by her sons, Tom (Kathleen Polansky) Causey and Mark (Janet) Causey; her sisters, Carolyn Frisbee and Janelle (BJ) Watts; and her nieces and nephews, Bob Frisbee, Greg Frisbee, Dan Watts, Melissa Campbell, Philip Causey, and Robin Causey.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey, Indiana. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
