Earline was absolutely an incredible influence and support to me. As a young Police Officer early in my career; Earline was such an incredible support to me. She was kind, thoughtful, and always full of encouragement to all the men and women of Mount Vernon District Station.

I always felt that Earline was like a "mother" to us all.

Earline brought a little piece of Heaven on Earth. I will always be grateful for the investment she made in my early years on the police department. It paid off ... I was able to serve for 31 1/2 years. Earline was my guardian angel while I was at Mount Vernon Station. I will see my Sister in Christ again.

God Bless the Cornnell Family. Earline finished her race and God said it was time to come home.

She made a difference; I am most grateful and blessed. Purvis Dawson

Earline was our secretary in the Criminal Investigation Unit at the Fairfax County, Mt. Vernon Station in the 90s. She had a great personality for the job. She could take a joke and was always there with assistance with whatever came along. We liked it that Earline was always bringing snacks to the office. After she fell, some of us visited her in Woodstock. I will aways remember Earline as a good hearted soul.
