Earnest Larry Mantel

MANTEL- Earnest Larry Mantel age 75 of Marina Cove Drive Niceville, Florida passed away peacefully May 29, 2022 in a Pensacola, Florida nursing facility after a brief illness. Larry was born and raised in East Brewton, Alabama and was a life time member of the Cedar Hill United Methodist Church. Larry enjoyed serving the Lord in many ways. He and his parents were forever at the church building and working on the grounds. Larry was a 1964 graduate of W.S. Neal Highschool, A 1969 graduate of Auburn University, and was a retired driver from Longhaul Escort Services.
Larry lived with his daughter Jill and LeGette McIntyre from age 70 until his death. He had many friends in Blue Water that nicknamed him "Happy" as he was always walking, waving, and smiling.

(1) Daughter- Jill (LeGette) McIntyre
Grandson- Chris McIntyre
Great Granddaughter- Haven and her mother Gabby

Visitation will be held Monday afternoon June 6, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME BREWTON, ALABAMA.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday afternoon June 6, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Bernie Raines and Annette Applewhite officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Crawford Cemetery East Brewton, Alabama with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton, Alabama Directing.
