On February 27, 2025, Earnestine “Candydoll” Grant Bartley, a devoted mother and woman of faith, passed away peacefully in the embrace of her heavenly father. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to nurturing her siblings and serving as a pillar of strength in her community. She was a member and prominent figure in the Forerunners Hub in Hinesville, Georgia, under the guidance of Apostle Dr. Carlos Wright Jr. and Bishop Bernard Bennett, she embodied the spirit of a true soldier in God’s army. She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Joe & Harvey Grant; four sisters, Patricia Ann Grant, Shirley Ann Grant, Betty Ann Grant & Angeline Summersett; three brothers, Ricky Grant, Calvin Walker and Dennis Williams.
She leaves to cherish her husband, Eric Bartley of Savannah Georgia; her loving children, Erica Grant of Glennville, Ga, Tanashia Coltrane of South Carolina, Israel Coltrane, Cirreyiah Coltrane, Mar’kayla Bartley, and Sadiren Grant all of Glennville, GA; two kids in which she mothered, Tony Haynes of Vidalia, GA & Cory Curcio of Augusta, GA; one sister Deborah (Normon) Tootle of Glennville, GA; four Brothers, Wayne Grant, Homer Grant, Harvey Grant, Herbert Grant all of Glennville, GA; five step-sisters and two-step brothers; grandchildren, Karter & Kior Coltrane, Kashtan Ealy of Glennville, GA, Kaleb & Kylie Birch, Cassidy Hosey all of South Carolina, Za’Marion, A’Zavior, Zamond, Zayla , Zalair Grant of Glennville GA. Aunts, Emma Jean Lewis, Ruby (Pete) Johnson, Dorothy Grant of Glennville, Ga; Uncles Hilton(Catherine) Grant, Jack “Boonie” (Raycine) Grant, Ervin (Norma) Walker all of Glennville, GA; Special friends, Angie Boston of Atlanta, GA, & Cathay Caswell of Glennville GA; special nephew Harvey Nukk of Dallas, TX.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the First United Pentecostal Church, 750 W. Barnard St. Glennville, GA. Interment will follow at Glennville Memorial Gardens.
