Eartha Lee Brown

Eartha Lee Brown age 83, was born on March 05, 1942, in Starke, FL. to the parents of Wilbur and Bessie Mae Owens (Both Deceased).
Eartha worked with CenturyLink (formerly known as Sprint) for 25 ½ years as a dedicated
"Operator Service Supervisor, retiring carly in 1993. Eartha then went on to be a successful business owner of -Browns Snack Shack Restaurant" from 1993-1996. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 192, while also dedicating her time at the Lee County elections office for 17 years.
Eartha was very caring, honest, and loyal, and she loved her family and always wanted the best for everyone. Eartha was the soul of our family. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Her warmth, kindness, and strength touched everyone who knew her.
Eartha dedicated her life to her family and was the steady presence who held everyone together through every season. Rather it was her wise advise or her unwavering support, she gave herself selflessly and wholeheartedly. She had a strong moral compass, and quiet courage that inspired all around her.
Eartha was proceded in death by her husband Willie J. Brown of 60 years. Together they created a blended family of 5 children: Charles Cosby, Sandra Young (Robert-deceased), Willie (Pip) Brown (deceased), Kelvin Brown and Stacey Brown. 13 Grandchildren: Scarlet (Tre'Rod), JaKahri, Tamika, Alyssa, Robert (Angie), Precious, Charles (Ashley), Dion (deceased), Kerry (deceased), Nodrick (Kiarra), James, Chon, Tabitha, a host of great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cherished family.
Eartha will be missed greatly by her family, relatives, and friends, but her kindness and compassion will live forever. We are grateful for the time we had with her and find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love and compassion will live on in all of us. She was truly the best of us, and she will be missed beyond words.
