Easter Bailey

Easter Mae Bailey transitioned from this life on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Born to the late Ike and Ella Bailey, Easter was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Ed Glasper, Robert Bailey Sr., and her grandson, Darian Bailey. Easter's legacy lives on through her four children: Clarence (Beverly) Bailey, Stephanie Bailey, Michael Bailey, and Lynette Bailey. She is also fondly remembered by her sister, Katie Dix, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, her devoted niece, Tony Nganga, and a circle of beloved friends, including Shawanda Howard. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members join in celebrating Easter's life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in honor of her memory on Saturday, April 20, 2024, for 10:00 a.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA 70126.
