Thomas Edwin "Ed" Pulliam, 85, of Greenwood, beloved husband of Faye Hart Pulliam, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late W. P. Pulliam and Nancy Allen Pulliam. Ed and Faye celebrated 67 wonderful years of marriage in December. Their bond was a true testament to love, resilience, and lifelong companionship. Ed was a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather and cherished his time spent with his family. He owned and operated Pulliam Trucking Company, Inc. from 1957-2017 and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Ervin Pulliam and sister, Jane Jordan. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his daughters, Janet Pulliam, Lynn Montjoy (Jeff) Marie Pulliam, all of Greenwood and Teresa Garcia (Art) of Beaufort, SC; grandchildren, Mimi Taylor, Erica Mashburn, Thomas Underwood (Kristin) and Will Pulliam; and great grandsons, Jackson Taylor, Giles Taylor, Elijah Mashburn, Rhett Underwood and Holton Underwood.
Services will be held at 11am on Thursday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Geoffrey Phillips and Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating. Entombment will be at Oakbrook Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Ernie Devore, Brian Powell, Joel Williams, Cliff Hall, Danny Darragh, Raymond Koch, Kevin Fallaw and Thomas Underwood.
Honorary escort will be the men of Eastside Baptist Church and Dink Tatham.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:30-7:30pm.
Memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 1908 Highway 72/221, Greenwood, SC 29649.
The family is at the home on Woodlawn Road.
