Ed J. St. Pierre, 73, of Russells Point, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Lima Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 4, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio to his late parents, Leonard and Beatrice (Chuvalas) St. Pierre. Ed was also preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Dennis; and brother, James St. Pierre.
Ed is survived by the love of his life, Pauline (Harrison) St. Pierre of Russells Point; daughters, Leah Frank and Michelle (Steve) Walden of Bellefontaine; son, Edward St. Pierre Jr.; 3 granddaughters that called him "Pa", Jessica (Scot) Lade, Ciara Walden, and Evin Walden; great grandson, Syan Torres; brother, Gary (Sharon) St. Pierre of Dayton; and many friends.
Ed was a retired salesman and enjoyed spending time with his family and going on vacations with Pauline. He was the guider, leader, and protector of his family. Ed never met a person that he couldn't make laugh or smile from one of his many jokes. He was a respected man by many people. Many said, Ed would help out anyone that needed it. He will be so missed by all of his girls (as he referred to them) and they are so thankful for him always being there to be the best Dad and Pa.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
