A Celebration of Life for our beloved, Eddie Lee Biggins, Jr, of
Tampa, Florida will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church of Highland Pines, 4711 E. 21st Avenue,
Tampa, Florida with Reverend A.W. Greene, Officiating. Interment will commence on Monday, February 12, 2024, 11:00 a.m. in Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
Eddie Lee Biggins, Jr, a.k.a. "Ed Lee" was born February 24, 1966, to the parents Jacquelyn Spencer James and Eddie Lee Biggins, Sr. He departed this life on Saturday, January 27, 2024. He was a native and life-long resident of Tampa for 57 years. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County. After high school, he served our country when he enlisted in the U.S. Army for five years from 1985 to 1990, while stationed in
Tacoma, Washington. He was employed at United Site Services at the time of his demise. Ed Lee found pleasure and enjoyment when he rode his motorcycle and when he talked with his brother Kennis, which he did every day. Our beloved will be sorely missed.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Jacquelyn Spencer James; aunt, Joyce Spencer; uncles, Charles and Don Spencer; and cousins, Frederick Sutton, Jr., and Lonnie Mann, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted and loving wife, Tonia Biggins; his children, Eddie III, Sachelle, Jacolia, Whitney, Danielle, Rakeem, Jordan, Elijah, Morris; a host of grandchildren; father, Eddie Lee Biggins, Sr. (Annie); grandmother, Mrs. Edna Smith; mother-in-law, Patricia Watkins; siblings, Renee McKenzie (Egbert), Kennis Keenan, Katrice Biggins, Reginald Keenan, Anthony Keenan (Ta'marell), and Latoria Jackson (Toby); first cousin, like a sister, Regina Spencer Nelson; sisters- in-law, Veronica Kellum, and Salithia Mathis (Dan); brother-in-law, Elijah Woodard (Meka); aunts, Barbara Jean Jones (George), Johnnie Mae Spencer (Errol), Sylvia Boone (Charles), Diane Spencer (Floyd), Janice Girven (Charles), Betty Bolden, Irene Gray, Christine Poole (Sammy), and Betty Biggins; uncles, Arthur Strawder (Belinda), Danny Williams (Geraldine), Ray Biggins (Beverly), and Robert Lee Biggins (Retha Lee); special friends, Ronald Mills and Rodney Fennell; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, far too many to name.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue,
Tampa, FL 33606.
