Eddie Dutton Obituary
Mr. Eddie K. Dutton, 64, of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Freeman Hood Funeral Services has been entrusted with Mr. Dutton's arrangements.
Eddie had a larger-than-life personality and loved his family with his whole heart. His family came first in everything, and he was an exceptionally proud and devoted husband, father, and Paw Paw. He had a passion for all things Elvis Presley, Alabama Football, and the Atlanta Braves.
He peacefully passed away at his residence from this earth to his heavenly home, surrounded by his family, after a brief illness.
He is preceded in death by his mother Dothola “Doty” Dutton; father Jimmy Dutton; brothers Dale Dutton and David Dutton; sister Denise Dutton; and grandparents Luther & Bertha Dutton, William Oliver, and Clem Carr of Randolph County.
He is survived by his loving wife Kathleen Dutton; daughter Holly Dutton Kendrick (Clint); son Corey Edward Dutton; sister Lisa Tidwell ( Danny); granddaughter Betsy Jane Kendrick; mother-in-law “Lucy” Jane Thorton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and sister & brother in laws.
The family would like to thank Southeast Hospice for their love and care for Mr. Dutton.
A private family service will be held.
