Eddie Maurice Goodlow, affectionately known as "G-LOW", "Mule Skinner", "Santa", and "Fishead", was born on February 1, 1963, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Hayward Goodlow and the late Mrs. Eddie Marie Goodlow. He peacefully entered eternal rest on August 26, 2025, at the age of 62. Eddie cherished his family deeply.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Eddie Marie Goodlow and father Haywood Goodlow. Sisters: Warrenlene (Fields) Morgan and Ailene (Fields) Johnson. Paternal grandparents Ernest & Arlila Goodlow. Paternal aunts Ophelia (Becky) Thomas (Percy), Mary Compton, Lessie McKeaver (Elisha), Tessie Johnson (Milton), and uncle Gilbert Goodlow (Jessie Mae). Maternal grandparents Tom & Bertha (Sterling) Hart. Maternal aunts: Alyce Williams and Bercy Sterling. Uncles: Isaac Sterling Jr, Charles T Sterling, and Florence B Sterling.

He leaves behind to honor his memory: nephews Michael L (Shelia) Fields Sr, Charles E Martin, Kevin D (Tish) Martin, John (Dorothy) Sterling, and Maynard Fields. His oldest living paternal relative Charles Goodlow and oldest living maternal relative Grace Temple, along with his extended Goodlow and Sterling family. Numerous close relatives and friends.

Eddie will be remembered for his unforgettable football talent, his booming laughter, and his late-night phone calls. His life was one of strength, courage, and devotion-and his spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. October 4, 2025, at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home Chapel, Altus, Oklahoma.

Local arrangements have been entrusted to Lowell - Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
