Carl's Life Journey
Eddie Carl Howard was born to the late Lewis Howard and Addie Stidom Howard on July 5, 1952.
Carl professed his hope in Christ at any early age and united with Perry Memorial Church of God in Christ.
Carl attended Gause and Hearne schools and graduated from Blackshear High School in Hearne. Carl served his country in the United States Army. After leaving the Army, Carl worked and resided in Houston for a number of years before returning home to care for his aging parents until their deaths. Carl loved his immediate and extended family dearly. Carl's and Peaches' home was often a gathering spot for family coming into town for family gatherings.
Carl was the ultimate family man and did whatever it took to provide for and spoil his children and grandchildren.
Carl united with the love of his life, Kenetra Wafford, and enjoyed 28 years of sharing their love together before she preceded him in death.
Carl was, also, preceded in death by his siblings, Gloriastine, Larry "Peaches," Susan "Ree," Betty "Bea," Chester "Chess," and Victor "Sonny Boy" and grandson, Noah Guevara.
Carl is survived by his daughters: Pierria "Sweetie" Burrell, Ebonique "Polly" Jackson (Ellis) and LaTonya "Boo" Wafford; brother: Lewis "Dap" Moore (Susan); brother/cousin: Prince Stidom, Jr.; granddaughters: Parhis Villapando, Brianna Darnell and Untearia Bowser; grandson: Quan Terrius Moten; great-grandsons: Nykyrian Dunn, J'Ladyn Green, and KyMeir Bowser; mother-in-law: Jean Burrell (Tucker); special niece: Shedra "Evette" Henderson, special nephews: Edwin "Red" Davis, Jr. and Kendrick Stidom; sisters-in-law: Jeri Howard and Terry Howard and brothers-in-law: Edwin Davis, Sr. and Fred Burrell (Makesha). Carl, also, leaves to mourn his passing a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
