Born on February 12, 1946 in Avery County, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Mary Higgins Ingram. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters; Howard, Hayden, Hazel, Hannah, Clisten, Cora, Ilean, and Lloyd and his son; Dustin Ingram who passed away at age nineteen.
Eddie was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was sent to Colorado and then later to Vietnam. He was a Christmas tree grower and later was a vegetable farmer.
Left to cherish his memories are his two daughters; Darlene Marsh (James), Jeanne Ingram and son Browne Ingram, his grandchildren; Savanah, Caleb, Dillon, Erika, Samuel, Tessa, Sawyer, and Raylon.
The funeral service for Eddie Ingram will be on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home with the Rev. Alvin Carpenter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.
