Eddie Locklear, Jr. better known as "PeeWee" of Shannon, NC was born on March 25, 1959 to the late Quessie and Lizzie Bell Clark Locklear and passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025 completing his journey of 66 years.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers: Rev. Murland Clark, Quessie Locklear, Jr. and Lawrence "Tonto" Strickland Locklear; three sisters: Carolyn Brewer, Joyce Locklear Brooks and Lizzie Ann Locklear.

Mr. Locklear enjoyed his time as a Fireman. He also worked in the construction industry as a Framer.

He is survived by his siblings: Sylvia Cummings of St. Paul's, Crawford Locklear and his wife Angela of Lumberton, Evelyn Hicks of St. Paul's, Shelia Hales of Shannon, Goldie Chavis of Shannon, Marnice Swoap of Raeford, Mary Ann Haywood of Lumberton, Sarah Locklear of Wilmington, Larry Locklear of Rowland, Gene Locklear of Wilmington, Jimmy Earl Locklear of Shannon and Jackie Dean Locklear of Wilmington.
