EDDIE LEE LUTES, age 61, Cynthiana, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was born March 9, 1952 in Harrison County to the late Henry C. and Edea Estes Lutes. He was a retired employee of Columbia Gas, a member of the Cynthiana First Church of God and a United States Army Veteran. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Lutes and a granddaughter, Diana Jordan Techau. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Dennis Lutes; a son, Eddie Wayne (Rebecca) Lutes, Cynthiana; a daughter, Stephanie Lutes (Neal) Techau, Cynthiana; a brother, Mitchel (Phyllis) Lutes, Cynthiana; two sisters, Sandra Lutes (Larry) Lawson, Cynthiana and Venita Lutes (Larry) Driscoll, San Diego, California and six grandchildren, Kensi Techau (Evan) Duszynski, Taylor Brooke Techau, Ashlyn Riley Techau, Lahni Blair Techau, Emmalee Alexa Lutes and Zachary Wayne Lutes. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Ware Funeral Home by Pastor Earl Litman and Rev. Tim Gould. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cynthiana First Church of God, P.O. Box 35, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031 or the Refuge for Women, 342 Waller Avenue Suite 1D, Lexington, Kentucky 40504. Active pallbearers will be Neal Techau, Evan Duszynski, Kevin Lutes, Steve Richie, Roger Matthews, Billy Fowler, Larry Lawson and Ron Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Taylor and Jim Dennis.
