Deepest sympathies. I worked with Ed in District Court when he was part of our security team. He always had a great smile and positive outlook even during the times when I know he was struggling. He has always been a great inspiration to me. God bless his soul!

I have many fond memories of Ed Lytle. He was a person of his word and you could depend on him. My trips to Fairbury Armory always found it standing tall. He could have been Mayor of Fairbury. The community loved him and so did his soldiers. Rest in Peace Ed.

The memories that will exist forever between Eddie and I! So familiar with Fairbury and Junior College I attended. There was the Armory right there. Then all of a sudden the Crete and Fairbury units became ONE!! Then on and on we went!! Together Eddie and I! You will never be forgotten......there are many Lytle signs here in Murfreesboro TN!! Lots of Lytle family history in this area. You will be missed, but never forgotten!

Eddie and I worked in the same capacity for many years.
We shared many meetings, conferences and phone calls discussing a multitude of "Army" business. We´ll maybe not always business.
We shared many good time filled with laughter and fun.
He was always a friend that was close at hand if needed.
R.I.P. my friend. You will be missed by many.

I have so many fond memories of 1sgt Lytle. He was such a great story teller and always had a smile on his face. He was the biggest factor in the Fairbury units success. He truly was a great man and I will miss him.
