Mr. Eddie William Sauls, 59 of Brunson, entered into eternal rest Thursday afternoon, March 26, 2026, at his residence.
Born July 28, 1966, in Colleton County, he was a son of the late Jake Pete Sauls, Sr. and Inez Martha Cook Stevens. Eddie loved hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed a cold beer after a hard days work. Eddie loved his family dearly and loved his grandchildren unconditionally. If you knew Eddie, you knew when he loved, he loved hard.
Surviving are: his wife, Kimberly Martin Sauls; children, James Sauls (Cindy) of Hampton, Ryan Sauls of Hampton, Karl Bishop of Gifford and Shelby Wright (Cameron) of Brunson; grandchildren, Brianna Sauls, James Sauls, Jr., Carson Sauls, Kane Wright, David Wright, Paislynn Wright, Sayge Wright, Cameron D. “Pookie” Wright, Brantley Bishop, Katherine Bishop, Anslee Bishop; brother, Jake Sauls, Jr. (Karen) of Brunson; sisters, Brenda Kneece of Columbia and Ann Graves (Alton) of Walterboro; nieces and nephews, Paige Sauls, Kayla Ayer (Travis), Megan Sauls, Justin Sauls, Cierra Wright, and Christopher Graves; and step-siblings, Kevin Sauls, Wayne Sauls, Shawn Sauls, Alicia Sauls, and Joseph Stevens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Tina Michelle Whitten Sauls; brothers, Ricky Sauls, David Sauls, and infant brother, William Sauls.
Funeral services will be held 11 o’clock Friday morning, April 3, 2026, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will follow in Peniel Baptist Church Cemetery Forks Road, Islandton.
The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10 o’clock, Friday morning at THE BRICE W.
