Deacon Eddie Lee Savannah, Sr was born in Hosston,Louisiana on February 26,1935 to Thomas and Ruby Savannah Eddie was the fourth of eleven children. Eddie was married to Ethel Savannah for 68 years and they had six children together and one son from a prior relationship. Eddie loved family, fellowship, fishing and food.
He worked at Standard Plumbing Company for over thirty (30) years with his father, brother and sons. He taught his sons to be plumbers, hunters and fisherman He loved playing spade and bingo with family and friends. He also loved being at his church-- St Luke Baptist Church--where he loved singing hymns and praying.
He will be truly missed by his family and especially the Cooper Road Community (Skelly Street)
