Mr. Templeton was born October 26, 1955, in Trion, GA, son of the late Arley Lee and Laura Bell Stanley Templeton. Prior to his retirement, he was employed in the trucking industry.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Templeton was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Saylor.
Survivors include his son, Justin Waldrip; daughter, Stephanie Gregory; granddaughter, Sydne Gregory; grandson, Toby Gregory; sisters, Barbara Stephens, Nancy (Mark) Imes, Mary Ann (Larry) Mann, Jennifer Templeton Parker; a brother, Joseph Templeton; and an aunt, Pat Warren.
At Mr. Templeton's request, he is being cremated and there will be no public services. A private family service will be held at a later date.
