Jerod Shane (Bo) Templeton, 46, of Manvel, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025 in Manvel, Texas.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, October 18, 2025, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Simmons of Second Chance Cowboy Church officiating. Services will be under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene, Texas.
Jerod was born in Abilene, Texas on July 30th, 1979 to Jerald Wayne Templeton and Roma Keesee Templeton. He was a 1998 graduate of Clear Creek High School in League City, Texas. He worked as an Estimator for Baker Construction in Houston, Texas since 2019.
Jerod was preceded in death by Alton Toxie “Dade” Templeton (grandfather), Rosie Jean Templeton (grandmother), Alvin Keesee (grandfather), Virginia Dair Kessee (grandmother), Alvin Kessee (uncle), Truman Keesee Sr. (uncle), David Keesee (uncle), Robert Keesee (uncle), and Ray Templeton (uncle).
Jerod is survived by mother Roma Templeton of Abilene, father Jerald Templeton (Jennie) of Terry, MS, sister Shanna Sweeney (Bobby Sweeney) of Nashville, niece Abby Sweeney of Denton, and nephews Brandon Sweeney (Cynthia) of Montgomery, Dawson Sweeney, and Case Sweeney, uncle Darrell Templeton (Sandra) of Katy, TX, aunts Carlotta Bowden (Jerry) of Hawley, TX, Darlene Foster (Mark) of Tuscola, TX, Nelda Bell (Vic) of San Antonio, TX, Nita Keesee of Abilene, Aggie Keesee of Abilene, and Sharon Keesee of Abilene, Gaylene Templeton of Abilene, along with numerous loved cousins.
The family of Jerod Templeton wishes to extend our sincere thanks for all the prayers and support, and to Jerod’s coworkers at Baker for their compassion and generosity through this difficult time.
