Goldie Ruth Templeton

Goldie Ruth Templeton, 96, of Hixson passed away Friday, August 8, 2025. Mrs Templeton loved people and children and was employed as a beautician and a teacher at the Hixson First Baptist Child Development Center. She loved her family and friends and feeding anyone who came through her door. Mrs Templeton was preceded in death by her sisters, Agnes Coates, Alma Clift, Nina Lewis (Florida); brother, Lowell Clift; husband George Templeton; grandson, Sean Cole, and great grandson, Jacob Templeton. Survivors include her sister Brenda(Butch) Davis; children Max (Linda) Templeton and Deana (Mark) Riggs and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4-8P.M., on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 and 11A.M. - 12 Noon on Thursday, August 14th at Legacy Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00P.M on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Chattanooga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Soddy Daisy Senior Citizens Center, 190 Depot St, Soddy Daisy, TN 37379.
