Mr. Eddie Earl Whittle, 74, entered into rest on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
Mr. Eddie is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Linda Beatrice Greenway Whittle, his children; Bengie Whittle, Saundra (Dennis) Rodgers, and Roy Shaw, grandchildren; Harley (Matthew) Margo, Bengie Whittle, Dalton Whittle, Josh Whittle, Jackson Whittle, Bill (Ashley) Rodgers, Brandy Bulter, Billy Ray (Kimberly) Reynolds, Sarah (Adam) Rodriguez, Kenneth (Lindsey) Reynolds, John Blackwell, Kelly Rodgers, and Samuel Rodgers, 19 great grandchildren, his siblings; Maryline Bolin, Jerry Whittle, and Lois Dale (Donnie) Williams.
Mr. Eddie was born on November 22, 1949 to the late Olin Nathan Whittle and the late Mildred Lorene Brown Whittle. He is also preceded in death by his son: Johnathon Earl Whittle, and siblings; Orin Jan Whittle and Lockey Sue Whittle.
Mr. Eddie was a Mill Wright Master Mechanic at Kimberly Clark where he retired after forty-one years of service. He loved to farm and hunt. Mr. Eddie "PaPa" loved his grand and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3-4pm Wednesday, October 3, 2024 in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. Graveside Service will follow at Rodgers Family Cemetery (454 Honeysuckle Trail, Salley, S. C. which is just outside of Perry, S. C.) with the Reverend Henry W. Cooper ministering.
