Eddie Aaron Wyeth left his earthly body to enter heaven’s gates early in the morning of Monday, February 5, 2026, after a heroic and gallant fight and of hospitalization of over six months in the Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Eddie was born on January 2, 1980, in Dearborn, Michigan, and has called Mississippi home for several years.

He leaves behind his wife, Pamela Sims Wyeth, sons Sam Wyeth and Eli Wyeth, and his little girl, Emmie Jo Wyeth to carry on his legacy with the memory of everything that was Eddie.

Eddie has always loved young kids and has mentored and guided many in their lives. He began this love of youngsters in his earlier time at Second Baptist Church where he served as one of their youth directors and leaders. This desire to nurture and help young men carried on throughout his and Pam’s marriage. There were many nights when several young boys have stayed the night at their home, not because of needing a place to stay but for the love Eddie heaped on these boys who needed someone to talk to or just to listen.

He was one of the funniest people as he always had a joke to tell and most of the time, forgetting the punchline before ending. You never knew what he might make into an amusing true-life happening.

Eddie loved his Lord and talked about going home to meet him face to face. He had told Pam many times over the course of his illness and trouble he wanted to go HOME. Coming out of a difficult surgery and stroke he had told her that he saw Jesus.

Eddie was a worker of many trades as he worked many different jobs throughout his life. His favorite task was that of a “lawn man” as he enjoyed cutting grass and keeping folks yards groomed. He was a tinker by trade and was a “Mr. Fixit”, with all odd jobs in which anyone needed help with. He was a hoarder as he never wanted to through away left-over nails, screws, pieces of lumber, old lawnmower parts, or whatever he deemed useable.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Walter Wyeth and Glenda Charmane Howell Wyeth. He leaves behind two brothers Walter Wyeth and Michael Wyeth and one sister, Nichole Wyeth, and a host of many young people who loved him as well as many friends and family.

Visitation will be Friday 13, 2026, from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. and the funeral at 11 A.M. at Jordan Funeral Home with interment at Parkway Cemetery.

Bro. Wayne Hudson will conduct the celebration of life. Pallbearers are Robbie Rush, Cullen Rush, Walter Wilkerson, Brayden Hutchison, Kaleb Wyeth, and Nathan Rush. Horary pallbearers are Jacob Sims, Joey Dias, Bradley Barrett, Holden McGee, Aiden Rush, A. J. Cheek, Jaylen Deason, Jon Parker Rush, Daniel Burns, and Brody Gowan.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
