Ellen I. Wyeth

Ellen I. Wyeth, 74, of West Alexander, died Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in the Donnell House, Washington. She was born July 28, 1950, in Washington, a daughter of the late Brice and Sarah Davis Lilley. Ellen was a 1968 graduate of McGuffey High School and graduated Penn Commercial beautician school. She had worked at the former West Pointe Products in Valley Grove, WV. Mrs. Wyeth was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and enjoyed horse shows, shopping with her girls and going to the Amish Country. On July 12, 1968, she married George E. Wyeth Jr., who survives. Also surviving are: two daughters, Lisa Scott (Marc) and Angela Sim (David) both of Claysville; four grandchildren, Coy Scott (Ciara), Tyler Scott (Brighton), Georgia Desmond (Luke) and Justin Sim (Brittany); seven great grandchildren, Karsyn, Kylan, Colt, Remington, Ryker, Colter and Veda; a brother, John Lilley (Jane) of Claysville; and a brother in law, Herman Ritchea of Elm Grove, WV. A sister, Wanda Ritchea, is deceased. All services are private and have been entrusted to McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K.
