Edgar Berube passed from this earthly life to his eternal home on November 14, 2025 at the age of 92. Born on November 28, 1932 in Lawrence, Mass., he was the son of the late William Berube and Alida (Parent) Berube. He joined the Air Force in 1956. Edgar started working for the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections in 1968 and retired after 20 years. Prior to that he had his own TV and VCR business called ABZ TV on Main Street in West Springfield. Edgar was predeceased by his three brothers, Rene, Ronald, and Richard and his two sisters, Emma Sanderson and Louise Dostie. He is survived by his wife Leona Berube of 72 years and his four children. His three daughters, Linda and Bruce Harris of N.C; Nancy and Michael Bates of Westfield, MA; Lorraine Webb of NH. His son Michael Berube of NH. He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Berube who died in 2014 from Amyloids. Edgar also leaves his daughter-in-law Janet Berube, 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren who he cherished. In lieu of flowers gifts can be sent to Amyloidosis Foundation or [email protected].
