Edgar Elrod, Jr. , 77, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009 at his home in Fort Wayne. He was born in Athens, AL, was the owner of AAA Sewer Service and also employed with Rea Magnet Wire for 35 years. He was a member of Shoaff Park Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Carol Elrod of Fort Wayne; sons, Earl E. & David P. Elrod, both of Fort Wayne, Homer L. Elrod of Wyoming, MI; daughters, Marilyn L. Morse of Fort Wayne, Carla M. Bratmueller of Monroeville, IN; sisters, Reba Hagamaker of Decatur, AL, Edna Pack of Athens, AL; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Service is 2 pm Wednesday at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue. Calling 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
