Edgar “FRANK” Wibright passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, August 28, 2023 in Chalmette, Louisiana. He almost made it to 83 years old! Frank was born on September 3, 1940 in Kingstown, Kansas and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. Those who knew Frank will remember him for his incredible carpentry skills and his love of gardening.
Frank is survived by four sons, Charles Guy (Glenda), Patrick (Donna), Roger (Desiree’) and Kevin (Amy). He also has two step children, John and Marie Abadie. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn Briquidel Guy Wibright, and then to his late wife Marilyn Abadie Wibright. Frank left behind 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
Frank is also survived by two brothers, Roger Wibright, Sr. and Robert Wibright, and his also preceded in death by his siblings, Dixie Wibright Pennington, Harry Wibright Jr. Chester and Thelma.
Frank was born to the late Martha Dunn Wibright and Harry Allen Wibright and was lovingly raised by June and
Elwood Klevinger.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435.
