Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Edgar Holder and Imogene Moore Holder; and his brother, Robert Dickey Holder.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Jean Holder; daughters, Deborah Carol Holder Stockman (Chuck), Shannon Leigh Holder (Donnie), Amiee Rayeann Holder Goodson (Brian); sons, Aaron Alexander Holder, and Stephan Lance Holder; sisters, Shirley Husband (Victor), and Emma Faye McKinley (Billy), 10 Grandchildren, Kaitlan Ann Brady (James Earl), Heather Lane Goodson (Jason), Deborah Sinklair Stockman (Stacy), Emily Kay Holder, Trystan Lee Holder, Karston Bruce Stockman, Lillian May Holder, Rayeleigh Regina Holder, Bryson Edison Goodson, Braxlee Geene Goodson, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Buddy was born in Newton, MS on December 23, 1947 where he spent most of his life. He was a welder by trade, and could be described as a spirited, resilient man. He spent 39 years with the love of his life, his wife Debra Holder. Together they had 5 children, whom all describe their father as a hardworking, loving dad. In his free time, Mr. Holder enjoyed riding horses, fishing, driving his jeep, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Through the medical treatments Buddy underwent, it was assured that he would always bounce back, and never lost his infectious smile through all of his hard times.
Mr. Buddy will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him, and Ott and Lee Funeral Home of Forest is honored to serve the Holder Family in their time of need.
