Edith Regina Allison

Edith Regina Allison, 70, a resident of Fairland, Oklahoma, passed away at her home on Friday, January 30, 2026. Mrs. Allison was born on September 24, 1955 in Topeka, Kansas to Eugene Woodrow and Edith Geraldine (Ferris) Tindell. She worked at General Foods in Kansas and later at a garment factory. She was an artist and musician at heart, and she was an award-winning saxophone player. Edith married her love of more than twenty-eight years, Steve Allison, in the year 2000. Edith is preceded in passing by her parents and son, Kenneth Gunther.

Survivors include her husband Steve Allison of the home, her children Daniel Shadon, Jeremy Gunther, Steve A. Allison, his wife Staci, and Shannon Allison. She was one of twelve brothers and sisters. Also surviving are her many grandchildren.

The family will have a family gathering at a later date in Kansas for her. Cremation Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
