On October 7, 2024, Edith Dannysa Bien-Aime passed away at Waterbury
Hospital after a short battle with her illness. She was 55 years old.
Edith's true spirit and joy for life showed in her smile and the twinkle in her
eye. Edith was a jokester. Edith's had faith in God. There was no quit in her.
She was full of energy, unstoppable, and unforgettable – a true force of
nature. When anyone else would have broken, Edith stayed strong. Her son,
husband and mother were her heart, and she would move heaven and earth
for them. She was always willing to help and never turned her back on her
loved ones. Edith planned ahead for everything and was always prepared
way before any occasion. As 1 Thessalonians 4:16 says " and with the
trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their
graves." and Edith even in death prepared to be first in rising to heaven to
be with God.
The only daughter born to the late Rafael Arriaga and Edith Montanez on
May 3, 1969 in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico and moved to the United States
when she was 3 months old. Edith was married for 12 years to Henry Bien-
Aime and is survived by son, Amani of Waterbury, Connecticut and her
stepchildren, Dayvon and Destini and her mother, Edith Montanez. She is
also survived by 5 aunts, 5 uncles and a large host of cousins.
Edith's family invites you to join them for a homegoing service. The service
will be this Monday, October 14 th at the Community Funeral Chapels, 798
Park Ave from 6 pm to 9 pm. All are welcome.
