Edith Bolen Obituary
Edith retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion, IL.
Edith was born June 20, 1938 in Neon, Kentucky to Thomas & Sarah (Wright) Quillen.
Edith married Kenneth Charles Bolen on April 20, 1993 in Paducah, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2018.
Edith is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Ann & Keith Holyfield of Alabama; two sons and daughters-in-law, Neal Dwight & Noreen Collins of Prescott Valley, AZ and Tim & Jamie Collins of Farmersville, IL; two step-daughters, Cathy & Ron Traug of New Jersey and Beth Bolen of New Jersey; dear friends, Tom Rotter, Paula Arnold, and Paul & Mary Winchester.
She was preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Cory Ray Collins; and parents.
The family would like to acknowledge the kindness and compassion from the staff and friends from Helia Health of Energy.
In accordance with Edith's wishes, she will be cremated. Memorial Graveside services will be at a later date. Interment will be at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin, IL.
