Leaf Cremation of Georgia - AcworthEdith Branch Brick of Marietta, Georgia passed away peacefully and went to heaven on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Born on October 18, 1944, in Brunswick, Georgia, she was the beloved daughter of Carey and Edith Branch.
She was a devoted wife to her husband of 59 years, Robert Joseph Brick, Jr. She was also a devoted “Nana” to her seven grandchildren.
Edith graduated from Glynn Academy in 1962. In her younger years, she fondly remembered being part of the Pirates of the Spanish Main, which that brought her lasting friendships and joyful memories. She went on to graduate from Florida State University in 1966 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. During her college summers, she worked at First National Bank. While at Florida State, she cherished her time as a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She taught elementary school for five years before dedicating herself fully to her family as a homemaker.
Edith found joy in life’s simple blessings. She loved sewing, reading, and cooking, and treasured time spent with her family. A devoted Christian, she faithfully attended First Baptist Church Atlanta and lived her life grounded in strong faith. Her favorite season was Christmas, which she filled with warmth, traditions, and love for those around her.She is survived by her husband Robert Joseph Brick Jr., her sister Mary Hayden (Jacksonville) and her three daughters, twins Charlotte Patel (Naren) and Carolyn Fleeman (Kevin), and Robin Brick.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Madeline, Emily, Mackenzie, Anna, Mark, Carrie Ashley(d. 2007) and Maggie, as well as her nieces and nephew.

Please join us in celebrating her life at 10:30am on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, at Rolling Hills Cemetery.
